It's hard to believe, but you are one. One whole, entire year. One whole, entire, way too fast year. This weekend, we spent some time reflecting on the road this last year has taken us down and thinking about where we will go next. Just tonight we turned and looked at you in the backseat of the car and said, "when did he grow up?" You're doing more walking (although we still haven't managed to get it on video), you're trying to say so much and you still spend most of your time laughing and smiling. Thank you for being such a joy, for changing our lives and for giving so much love. We thank God for you each and every day. What rich blessings we have been given. You are our everything and we love you.

I mean seriously...did you have to put that adorable, heart-wrenching video on your blog when I'm 3 wks post-partum and cry at everything??? :) Me and the Bean loved it. She wants to see it over and over. I can't watch it that much b/c I'll keep bawling. :)
