Where have I been?

I know so many of you must be wondering where I've been. It's been a while since I've posted. I do apologize, but I've just been so busy laughing and learning to talk. Not to mention, I've been a little under the weather. I have a nasty ear infection that developed after a nasty cold. But, I'm starting to get better and I think that the medicine tastes like candy...so I don't mind.

What else have I done? I went to my first movie! I didn't actually watch it, but my mommy and daddy did. It was late on a week night. We were the only ones in the theater, so it was great. They saw Harry Potter. Mom read me a few excerpts from book 7 a while back. She said that I'll like Harry a lot more when I'm older.

These pictures are a few that my mommy took of me and Colonel this weekend. We went over to their new house to help out a little. I'm not really sure that we helped as much as we distracted, but it was certainly fun! I really like their new house. My mommy and I stayed in a room with a high ceiling and big windows. I really liked it. It was bright and sunny and I was very interested in that light fixture way up high. Anyway, I had a good time laughing and talking to Grammy and Colonel. They are funny. I really tried to tell them that. I've been trying to talk a LOT lately. My mommy said she will try to video it later to see if you can understand what it is that I'm saying.

Well, I've got to run. I've got a very busy day planned! Lots of things to do. I have to flirt with Miss Kate at school and make sure I study what all the older babies are doing so I can do it too.

George

Splish, Splash

Yay! Bath night! I've actually started to enjoy bathtime a bit more. I don't even mind the hair washing so much. Here's a picture of me having my bath tonight. I'm smiling because I learned a new trick. If I use my legs to push my bottom out of the water...I can make a big splash. Then my mommy gets wet too!
Some other things that are happening? Well, let's see...Grammy and the Colonel officially got moved into the new house in Birmingham today. That means they're closer to me!
I'm still enjoying "school" everyday. It's very interesting to watch what the other babies do all day. Not to mention that I come home just pooped! This week I haven't been getting up at all during the night. I sleep straight through till my mommy and daddy get up and my mommy wakes me up to give me my first bottle of the day. Then she dresses me and my daddy take me to my daycare.
This weekend, I've got a bit of a challenge though. I'm going to have to start learning to sleep in my "big boy" crib at night. It's in my very own room. I've taken some naps there, but usually I sleep in my bassinet in mom and dad's room. I'm just about to old for it now...but more serious is the fact that I'm almost too LONG for it! Give me two more weeks and I could reach from one end to the other! (Hmmm...wonder where that length comes from...???)
I guess that's all the news for now. I love you all! Hugs and wet, formula kisses!

George

Look familiar?

How many of you REALLY know my mommy and daddy? How many of you have know them since they were little like me? Well, if so...then this should look very familiar. I like my pacifier, but in the last week...I'm getting better and better at finding and using what is readily accessible....my thumb. I know my parents didn't think that pacifier would really keep me from learning to suck my thumb, did they? After all, like mommy, like son, like daddy, like son....

Good night sweetheart...

Boy am I beat. School was hard today. I posed for a picture or two, made a footprint to hang on the classroom wall and spent a lot of time checking out the new girl in the crib next to mine. She's an older chick, but only by about 2 weeks. It was a lot to take in. I think I'll sleep for for a good 5-6 hours tonight....

Funny bears...

Hello adoring fans! I just wanted to show you one of the funniest things around. There are these bears over my bassinet and in the mornings, they just go round and round and round. I think they're the funniest thing I've ever seen...besides my daddy. I just love to watch them and laugh and laugh. I've also tried to talk to them, to ask them why they just hang there and go round and round. But, so far, no answer from the bears.

George

What a week...and it's only Wednesday!

This has been a busy, busy week for me. On Monday, my mommy went back to work and my daddy and I both started to school. Well, it was pre-planning for my daddy. But for me, it was my first day at daycare! I didn't learn everything, so I've gone back twice since. They just love me there. They tell my mommy and daddy that I'm just an angel, such a good baby. Of course they already knew that. It's been lots of fun and I come home nice and worn out. The first night...I slept through the night for my mommy and daddy!!! They were glad to take me back and have me worn out again the next day.

So, it's been busy...but then today, my daddy came and got me a little early. I thought we were going out for frozen milk (ice cream) but it turns out that he was taking me to the doctor. I've been there before and it wasn't so bad...but today...WHO ARE THESE MEAN PEOPLE?!?! They did all that usual weighing and measuring (by the way, I'm a whopping 12 lbs. 4 oz. now) but then after I thought it was all over. That's when they got me. These two ladies came in and stabbed me in the legs! I told them what I thought of it. But I was calm again in about 60 seconds. Once my mommy picked me up, I knew I was safe. She has saved me many times before from things like sharks and fire.

So, here's some pictures of cute me today. Aren't my bright yellow band aids pitiful? My sisters both decided to pose for some pictures, too. I like Molly, but I really think Emma is funny. She kisses the top of my head sometimes, and it tickles.
